A performance laboratory
“Especially for technology companies, investing in a performance culture is like investing in a quality culture”
Steve Souders (Engineer at Google)
Performance will not always be the most important factor in projects. In fact, this will never happen if it is not aligned with the strategy and if the level of expectation for the solution and where it will be applied is not established.
Even so, I think it is a very important pointer that cannot be ignored. Especially when we currently have a huge amount of information on the internet and we fight for attention and to deliver the information satisfactorily.
Exercising this kind of knowledge, just with the intention of demonstrating, I applied some techniques to this humble portfolio to illustrate how far we can go with performance improvements and reap some benefits, especially when we are involved in paid traffic campaigns and launches. In this example, I didn’t apply all the alternatives for this demo and could certainly improve the indicators even more. However, I think it’s enough to start a good debate about this.
